Wheel Force Centre has been working on European cars in Delhi NCR since 1989. A knock, overheat, oil-burn or failed compression is a workshop job. We diagnose first, put the findings on paper, then rebuild or replace only what the engine actually needs.
Why this page exists
Most engine trouble is not a full rebuild. We say so when it isn’t.
A dealer long-block quote and a garage “engine overhaul” package are not the same job. At Wheel Force Centre we separate head work, turbo failure, timing-chain stretch, injector faults and cooling damage from a true bottom-end rebuild. You pay for the repair the measurements support — not a bundled strip-down sold on fear.
Process
How an engine rebuild runs in our workshop.
Diagnose on the car
Brand-level scan, compression or leakdown where it helps, cooling-system pressure test, oil condition, road test if the engine still runs. Findings go on the job card.
Strip and photograph
If the numbers justify opening the engine, it comes out. Pistons, bores, crank, bearings, head and oil pump are inspected and recorded.
Measure, then decide
Rebuild the existing engine, repair the head only, or replace a short/long block. That call is made on limits — not on habit.
Machine and parts
Skim, hone, grind or replace to spec. Parts are genuine OE, with the 2-year parts warranty Wheel Force Centre publishes on OE components.
Assemble
Torque, timing, clearances, seals, gaskets and fresh fluids. Engine-out work stays in Mayapuri or Gurugram. It is not a driveway job.
Test and hand back
Leak check, idle, temperature and a road test. You leave with the parts list, the estimate you signed, and the warranty line for that job.

Full petrol and diesel rebuild
Bottom-end and top-end when bearings, bores, pistons or the crank are out of spec. Includes assembly, fluids and a post-rebuild road test.
Cylinder head and gasket work
Warped heads, burnt valves, coolant in the oil. Often the correct job when the bottom end still measures inside limits.
Overheating damage
Radiator, pump, thermostat and fan faults are traced before the engine is opened. Then we repair the damage the heat already caused.
Timing, turbo and supporting systems
A skipped chain or a failed turbo can look like a dead engine. We isolate those before recommending a full rebuild.

Wheel Force Centre is set up as a multi-brand luxury workshop, not a general neighbourhood garage. Engine-out work, gearbox strip-downs and machining happen at the two workshops below. Free pickup and drop across Delhi NCR so a failing engine is not driven through traffic.

Transmission repair & replacement
Manual, automatic, DSG and other units. Clutch-pack work, valve-body repairs, or a complete unit when a rebuild is not the honest option.
Clutch and dual-mass flywheel
Plate, cover, release bearing, hydraulics, and flywheel machining or replacement so the new clutch is not sitting on a worn face.
Steering, suspension, brakes
The running-repair work luxury cars need in NCR: racks, arms, dampers, alignment, ABS and hydraulic brake faults.
Electrics, AC, accident repairs
Module and wiring diagnosis, air-conditioning, and cashless denting-painting through the body shop — separate from the engine bay, same company.

FAQ
Engine rebuild questions we get in Delhi and Gurugram.
1) How much does an engine rebuild cost?
There is no single number. A four-cylinder head gasket is a different job from a diesel V6 bottom-end with pistons, crank work and a turbo. After diagnosis we give a written range; after strip-down we lock the estimate to the parts that engine needs. Treat a phone quote for a “full rebuild” with no compression figures as incomplete.
2) How long will the car be off the road?
Diagnosis can often be same-day or next-day. A head job is typically quicker than a full rebuild waiting on machined parts. We put a target date on the job card and update you if a part is delayed. Workshop hours are 10:00–19:00 daily.
3) Do you always rebuild, or sometimes replace the engine?
Whichever is the sounder repair. If the block is cracked, the crank is beyond grind limits, or a good short/long block is more reliable than machining, we will say so.
4) What warranty do I get?
OE parts used on the job carry Wheel Force Centre’s stated 2-year parts warranty. Labour and the rebuild as a whole are covered on the terms printed on your job card. Ask for that line before you sign.
5) Which workshop should I use?
Mayapuri for most of Delhi and West/South Delhi traffic. Gwal Pahari for Gurugram and the Faridabad road. If the engine should not be driven, we collect it from your address in NCR.
6) Is this the same as a periodic service?
No. Periodic service, alignment and detailing are separate. An engine rebuild is a multi-day workshop job. Book it as a diagnosis first.
